Azman Air, a Nigerian airline, has received approval from the Federal Government of Nigeria to evacuate stranded Nigerian citizens in Sudan.<\/p>\n

The airline disclosed this on Monday night via its official Instagram handle.<\/p>\n

According to the airline, the evacuation will begin tomorrow (Tuesday).<\/p>\n

The statement reads, \u201cAzman Air has received the approval of the Federal Government to Evacuate Nigerians stranded at the Egyptian border amid the Sudan crisis with the 409-Seater Airbus A340-600.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvacuation is expected to commence from Tuesday, May 2 as we await final clearance from Egypt.\u201d<\/p>\n

Recall that Air Peace had also indicated interest to evacuate Nigerians<\/a> who were stranded in Sudan free of charge amidst the escalating fight in the country.<\/p>\n

The Chairman and Chief Executive Office of the airline, Allen Onyema, disclosed this in a statement on Monday.<\/p>\n
