Reno Omokri, a former presidential aide, claims that President-elect Bola Tinubu used Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike to win the 2023 election and no longer requires him.<\/p>\n

WITHIN NIGERIA reports that this follows Tinubu’s statement that he would not refund the N80 billion Wike spent on federal road infrastructure development in the state.<\/p>\n

Tinubu gave reasons for not meeting the demands, saying he cannot make any commitment until he is sworn in as President.<\/p>\n

According to him, he cannot sign any Nigerian money or expenditure, and any commitment he makes would be personal and likely unpayable.<\/p>\n

In response, Reno<\/a> blamed the Labour Party (LP) for the election of the former governor of Lagos State as President-elect in an Instagram post.<\/p>\n

He also criticized Wike for laughing at Tinubu’s statement that he would not refund money spent on federal projects, saying it was unlike him.<\/p>\n

He said;<\/strong><\/p>\n

Those screaming loudest about Tinubu are the people most responsible for his emergence. Tinubu is happening to Nigeria because of Labour Party. Remember when Obidients said they prefer to waste their votes? Tinubu is their waste product, and Nigeria is their toilet! Emotion blinds you in politics. And a perfect example is Rivers State.<\/em><\/p>\n

Look at how Wike smiled as he received polite insults from Tinubu. The Wike we knew would not have been quiet when Tinubu said he wouldn\u2019t refund him money spent on a federal project.<\/em><\/p>\n

Tinubu has used Wike. He does not need him anymore.
