A road mishap on the busy Lagos-Ibadan expressway on Saturday has left three persons dead. <\/p>\n

According to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), two people also sustained injuries in the auto crash<\/a>. <\/p>\n

FRSC spokesperson in Ogun, Florence Okpe, disclosed that the crash occurred around the Saapade-Ogere axis of the road at about 6:25 pm.<\/p>\n

She said a total of five persons were involved in the crash \u2013 four male adults and one female adult.<\/p>\n

While saying two persons were injured, Okpe expressed sadness that three other persons died in the crash.<\/p>\n

According to her, a speeding Toyota car marked KSF122, had rammed into a Sino truck registered as FZE840G.<\/p>\n

Okpe said the Toyota car driver lost control while speeding, saying it \u201crammed into the moving truck from the rear.\u201d<\/p>\n

It’s gathered that the injured victims were taken to Victory Hospital in Ogere, while the bodies of the deceased were deposited at FOS Morgue, Ipara, all in Ogun.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Sector Commander of the FRSC in Ogun, Ahmed Umar has sympathised with the families of the victims.<\/p>\n

While reiterating the dangers of speeding, especially during rainy seasons when visibility is always poor, the FRSC boss advised motorists to drive defensively and obey traffic rules and regulations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
