Gunmen have kidnapped nine children and grandchildren of the Emir of Kagarko, Alhaji Sa\u2019ad Abubakar, in Kagarko Local Government Area in Kaduna State.<\/p>\n

It was gathered that the incident happened when the suspected kidnappers stormed the Emir’s palace on Sunday night and also abducted three other people in the town<\/p>\n

According to Daily Post, one of the members of the community, Alhaji Musa Jibril, said that the bandits<\/a> stormed the town around 11:15 pm and headed straight to the Emir\u2019s palace. The gunmen took away nine children and grandchildren and his youngest wife, who later escaped, he claimed.<\/p>\n

Jibril added that the gunmen also abducted three other members of the community, including a lady. They also injured a villager, Audu Kwakulu of Ungwan Pah, who is presently at the hospital receiving treatment.<\/p>\n

The bandits reportedly killed one herdsman in Kuchimi village and looted seven shops in Janjala village (both in Kagarko LGA) on their way out.<\/p>\n

The State Police Command spokesman, DSP Muhammed Jalige has yet to respond to calls at the time of filing this report.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
