President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday urged the Senate to approve a new loan request of $800million.<\/p>\n

WITHIN NIGERIA<\/strong><\/a> gathered that the President Buhari, in a letter read by Senate President Ahmad Lawan<\/a> at plenary, said the loan would be utilised to scale up the National Social Safety Net Programme.<\/p>\n

He added that the loan would be sourced from the World Bank.<\/p>\n

Recall that in another letter, the president transmitted a Bill for the establishment of the Nigeria Police Force College Training School and Institution, for consideration and approval by the Senate<\/a><\/p>\n
