Manchester United have sent scouts to watch Gent striker Gift Orban.<\/p>\n
The Nigerian has been in the form of his life since joining the Belgian club from Norwegian side Stabaek in January.<\/p>\n
Orban has bagged 19 goals in 19 games since his move to the Jupiler Pro League.<\/p>\n
The Red Devils are not the only Premier League club interested in the 20-year-old, with Chelsea, Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur also watching him.<\/p>\n
The Genk star has scored a goal every 75 minutes for the club and they are not looking to sell him anytime soon.<\/p>\n
A lot of Europe\u2019s top clubs have sent scouts to watch Orban play, and more suitors are expected to emerge.<\/p>\n
Man United want to sign a striker this summer and have been impressed with his performances.<\/p>\n
They are keen on his fellow Nigerian Victor Osimhen, but the Napoli hitman will cost top dollar.<\/p>\n
Genk would also want a huge fee for Orban as he is under contract until 2027.<\/p>\n
However, suitors may be able to get him for less than \u20ac20 million as he joined the Belgian club for only \u20ac3.3m.<\/p>\n
Man United will want a proven hitman, but the youngster has huge potential and they should not hesitate to take a punt on him.<\/p>\n
He bagged five goals in the Europa Conference League and could hit the ground running in the Premier League.<\/p>\n
Orban notched a first-half hat trick within three minutes and 25 seconds in his side\u2019s 4-1 away win over Istanbul Basaksehir in March.<\/p>\n
He set a new record for the fastest hat trick in UEFA club competitions, breaking the previous record of six minutes and 12 seconds held by Mohammed Salah in the Champions League.<\/p>\n
While Orban is happy to remain with Genk for longer before seeking a move, turning down the Red Devils could prove impossible.<\/p>\n
