The spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Council, Daniel Bwala, has disclosed why Godswill Akpabio<\/a> would not be elected as Senate President.<\/p>\n

Bwala in a tweet on Monday morning via his Twitter handle, said strong forces are aligning to scuttle Akpabio’s ambition. <\/p>\n

Recall that Akpabio, a former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, had been nominated by his party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, to become the Senator President of the 10th National Assembly.<\/p>\n

The former governor faces stiff competition from Senators, Ali Ndume, Orji Uzor Kalu, and Jibrin Barau, amongst others.<\/p>\n

In his tweet, Bwala said Akpabio\u2019s bid to run for the leadership of the upper chamber is hindered by a thick, heavy cloud.<\/p>\n

Bwala wrote, \u201cGodswill Akpabio would not be elected as Senate President. The cloud gathering against his aspiration is heavy and thick. It is not motivated by religion, but regional and as well as the revenge of the coalition of all foes.
