In order to travel to his hometown of Daura, Katsina State, Muhammadu Buhari, the immediate former president of Nigeria, has left Eagle Square for Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.<\/p>\n

Buhari<\/a> departed the area right away. On Monday, Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima were sworn in as the new president and vice president, respectively.<\/p>\n

Buhari officially handed over the incoming president’s flag and other official insignia before departing.<\/p>\n

On Sunday evening, Tinubu and other dignitaries joined Buhari for dinner in the State House Banquet Hall.<\/p>\n

The retired Army General had repeatedly said he would retire to his hometown to take care of his cows after his tenure in office elapses.<\/p>\n
