President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured that palliatives to cushion the effect of fuel subsidy removal were being worked out.<\/p>\n

He spoke during an interactive session with Nigerians resident in France and neighbouring European countries on the sidelines of the New Global Financing Pact Summit in the French capital, Paris.<\/p>\n

The President in his inaugural speech said the subsidy<\/a> era was gone because there was no budgetary allocation for it.<\/p>\n

On how he convinced Organised Labour to shelve the planned protest over removal of subsidy, he said: \u201cYou want money increase in palliative, transportation what are you protesting about? Are you sharing part of the subsidy? if you protest, I will join you and protest and they stopped. No protest.<\/p>\n
