The state executive council of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State has affirmed, Hon Tajudeen Lawal, as the substantive chairman of the party in the state.<\/p>\n

A statement made available to newsmen in Osogbo by the Publicly Secretary of the party, Wole Adunola stated that the resolution was taken at a special session of the state executive committee meeting of the party which also had in attendance local party chairmen of the party<\/a> across the state and members of the state working committee.<\/p>\n

Comrade Wole Adunola, disclosed that Tajudeen Lawal has led the party excellently well since he assumed office, hence the justification of the resolution to confirm him as substantive chairman of the party.<\/p>\n

\u201cLawal has ensured that the party\u2019s structures are intact across all the local governments, wards and units in the state.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe has brought to the table his sound party administration of many decades and grassroots mobilisation skill which has begun to galvanize the party\u2019s strength in the state.\u201d<\/p>\n

It would be recalled that since the official announcement and installation of the former chairman of the party now Owa of Igbajo, Oba Gboyega Famodun, the position of the state helmsman of the party has been vacant while Sooko Tajudeen has been in acting capacity before today\u2019s resolution.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe meeting strongly recognised the leadership direction of Chief Bisi Akande and the immediate past governor ,Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola and the Elders council of the Party in the state,\u201d the statement added.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
