Jeff Bezos comes in third with $151 billion, followed by Microsoft CEO Bill Gates with $130 billion, and Larry Ellison comes in fifth with a net worth of $130 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the challenges of the Nigerian currency, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2023\/06\/16\/bloomberg-index-dangote-abdulsamad-rabiu-lost-5-85bn-to-naira-float\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dangote\u2019s consistent<\/a> ranking as Africa\u2019s richest person reflects his successful business ventures and investments in a variety of sectors.<\/p>\n<p>Only five other Africans made the most recent list of the world\u2019s top 500 billionaires for the year 2023.
