Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra state made a presentation to the NEC Adhoc Committee on mitigating the effects of the removal of petrol subsidies.<\/p>\n<p>After deliberations on the presentation, Shettima stated;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>In the short term, we will also vigorously pursue the mass deployment of CNG-powered vehicles and the establishment of autogas conversion plants\/kits in all States.<\/p>\n<p>We will also deploy electric buses and cars with charging infrastructure across the country.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He also revealed that the meeting resolved to support enhanced engagements between State Governors and labour union leadership across the States, and proposed the provision of cost-of-living allowances to civil servants in both the State and Federal Civil Services.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The council agreed to support the Federal Government&#8217;s efforts to expand infrastructure, focusing on repairing dilapidated highway roads across the country.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"jeg_post_title\">FG releases list of illegal loan apps<\/h3>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2023\/07\/21\/fg-releases-list-of-illegal-loan-apps\/\">Federal Government through<\/a> the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, has stated that it will release a list of illegal (unregistered) digital loan apps operating in Nigeria.<\/p>\n<p>The commission also stated that\u00a0it would delist two legal (registered) loan apps from Google Play Store for harassing Nigerians.<\/p>\n<p>According to the FCCPC on Thursday, it had added digital money lenders that had refused or failed to register under its guidelines on its watchlist for strict surveillance and necessary action.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement signed by the Executive Vice Chairman\/ Chief Executive Officer, Babatunde Irukera, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/08\/18\/fccpc-orders-flutterwave-opay-paystack-to-stop-servicing-loan-sharks\/\">FCCPC<\/a>\u00a0said, \u201cThe commission has also placed digital
