K. Jimoh which was obtained by Vanguard on Monday, it added that he was suspended for abuse of office and misappropriation of fund.<\/p>\n<p>It reads; \u201cYou are hereby suspended as the Rector of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2023\/07\/24\/police-prohibit-use-of-facemasks-hoods-by-commercial-motorcyclists-in-osun\/\">Osun State Polytechnic<\/a>, sequel to the strong allegations of financial recklessness, corruption, misappropriation of fund, abuse of office among others.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou are to proceed on suspension immediately, while investigation into the allegations leveled against you commences soon\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>In another letter dated same day signed by the Permanent Secretary, the state government appointed Alabi Kehinde as acting rector with immediate effect.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The state government appointed Alabi Kehinde as acting rector with immediate effect He was suspended for abuse of office and misappropriation of fund Osun State Government has suspended the Rector, Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Dr Tajudeen Odetayo over alleged corruption.
