{"id":281088,"date":"2023-07-25T17:53:07","date_gmt":"2023-07-25T16:53:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=281088"},"modified":"2023-07-25T17:53:07","modified_gmt":"2023-07-25T16:53:07","slug":"adeleke-appoints-spokesman-29-others-as-special-advisers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2023\/07\/25\/adeleke-appoints-spokesman-29-others-as-special-advisers\/","title":{"rendered":"Adeleke appoints spokesman, 29 others as special advisers"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><strong>Ten are cabinet rank<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><strong>Portfolios to be assigned to the Advisers on the inauguration<\/strong><\/strong><br \/>\n<hr \/>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has appointed his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed along with 29 others as special advisers.<\/p>\n<p>He also appointed former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP\u2019s Caretaker Chairman and his Secretary, Dr Adekunle Akindele and Femi Carena, as well as a former local government chairman under the All Progressives Congress, APC, Sekinat Halid.<\/p>\n<p>A statement issued by the Governor\u2019s spokesperson Olawale Rasheed on Tuesday, stated that of the 30 special advisers, ten are cabinet rank, adding that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2023\/06\/17\/breaking-kaduna-lawmaker-passes-away-after-inauguration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">inauguration<\/a> of the new aides will hold tomorrow, Wednesday at the Government Secretariat.<\/p>\n<p>Others names on the list, include; Azeez Badmus, Mosudi Yakubu, Stephen Akanfe, Tunde Balogun, Eniola Odeniyi Muniru Raji, Goddey Olijeh, Seyi Babatunde and Kamoru Ajisafe<\/p>\n<p>Also the list has Sunday Komolafe, Tope Victor Anjorin, Oyebuade Rasheedat, Odelade Sarafat, Moji Omisore, Nurudeen Emiloju, Ropo Oyewole, Emiola Fakeye and Yemi Ayodele<\/p>\n<p>Bankole Omisore, Hashim Abioye, Ajetunmobi Akinwale, Hawa Ahmed, Durojaiye Isaac, Adebimpe Koyi, Abiodun Olaniran and Adam Akintunde were also in the list.<\/p>\n<p>The statement added that portfolios are to be assigned to the Advisers on the inauguration.<\/p>\n<p>In another story, the Osun State Police Command has issued a warning to motorcyclists who use hoods or face masks to cover their heads, faces and noses to desist forthwith.<\/p>\n<p>The command\u2019s spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola, led this out in a statement on Monday to journalists in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.<\/p>\n<p>It was gathered that the warning became essential due to reports received by the police of activities of criminally-minded commercial motorcyclists popularly known as Okada riders.<\/p>\n<p>The statement revealed that, \u201cThese commercial motorcyclists use hoods with the intent to commit crimes such as robbery, rape, etc. on innocent citizens, especially their passengers during the night, whose identities will not be easily ascertained.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe decision was taken by the command to curb the criminal activities involving the use of motorcycles in the state,\u201d Opalola said<\/p>\n<p>She also called on the leadership of the okada riders\u2019 association in the state to warn their members against covering their heads and faces in any form while riding their motorcycles.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe command has plans and strategies on how to arrest and prosecute anyone that acts against the rules,\u201d the police spokesperson said.<\/p>\n<p>Opalola appealed to members of the public not to board the motorcycles or engage the services of any commercial motorcyclist with a hood or facemask.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ten are cabinet rank Portfolios to be assigned to the Advisers on the inauguration Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has appointed his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed along with 29 others as special advisers.
