Mr. Mamman was accused of stealing 1,500 pieces of building blocks, which resulted in him facing theft charges.<\/p>\n<p>The prosecutor, Stanley Nwaforaku, told the court that the incident was reported by Chukwu Johnson of Apo, Abuja, and was lodged at the Lugbe Police Station on August 26.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Nwaforaku said that the defendant dishonestly stole the complainant\u2019s 1,500 piece of nine-inch building blocks worth N570,000.<\/p>\n<p>He said the defendant used the said blocks to build a fence at plot 2342 Lugbe 1 Extension without the consent of the owner.<\/p>\n<p>The prosecutor said that during the police investigation, the defendant could not give a satisfactory account of his actions.<\/p>\n<p>He said that the offences contravened Section 287 of the Penal Code.<\/p>\n<p>The judge, Aliyu Kagarko, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N 2 million with a surety in like sum.<\/p>\n<p>He ordered that the surety must reside within the court\u2019s
