He was the commissioner for the Lagos State Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget and the previous chairman of Citibank Nigeria.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Yemi Cardoso is an expert in finance and development who has worked in the public, corporate, and non-profit sectors for more than thirty years.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Education<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cardoso earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in managing and administrative studies from Aston University. He holds a master&#8217;s degree in public administration from the Harvard Kennedy School.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Career<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2023\/09\/15\/unga-tinubu-departs-abuja-for-new-york\/\">President Bola Tinubu<\/a><\/strong> ruled as Lagos governor, Cardoso worked as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2023\/09\/07\/breaking-lagos-assembly-rejects-3-fresh-commissioner-nominees-confirms-15-others-full-list\/\"><strong>Commissioner for the Lagos State Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Lagos State Economic Summit&#8217;s Ehingbeti Summit was founded by him, and he serves as co-chair.<\/p>\n<p>He has also served as the association&#8217;s executive lead for alumni of the Harvard Kennedy School.<\/p>\n<p>Cardoso presided over Citibank Nigeria&#8217;s board of directors. He joined the Cities Alliance&#8217;s Africa Think Tank Group, a team established to address issues related to urban development.<\/p>\n<p>He has served as a board member of MRS Oil and was the
