She was charged with missing three whereabouts control tests. However, a month later, an Independent Disciplinary Tribunal cleared her of any wrongdoing.<\/p>\n<p>Following the tribunal&#8217;s decision, the AIU announced its intention to appeal the verdict at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), the international body responsible for resolving sports-related disputes through arbitration.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout this entire process, Amusan has consistently denied all the allegations brought against her. In a strong statement released after the initial provisional ban, Amusan maintained her innocence and emphasized that she is a &#8220;clean athlete&#8221; who has always followed the anti-doping rules and regulations. She expressed her disappointment and frustration with the situation, but also remained confident that the truth would prevail.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am a CLEAN ATHLETE, and I am regularly; (maybe more than the usual) tested by the AIU \u2013 I was tested within days of my third \u201cmissed tests\u201d. I have FAITH that this will be resolved in my favour.
