Government Area accused the state government of excluding them from Federal Government palliative distribution<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>IDPs from various communities appealed for the reconstruction of their destroyed houses and basic amenities in their communities<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Nasarawa State&#8217;s Keana Local Government Area (LGA) have accused the state government of failing to include them in the Federal Government&#8217;s palliative distribution and have demanded inclusion.<\/p>\n<p>This is according to a statement signed by Mr Dannis Utsa, Chairman of the United Farmers&#8217; Association of Kadarko in Keana LGA.<\/p>\n<p>According to the statement, the association&#8217;s chairman stated that they are already vulnerable, and the effect of the removal of fuel subsidies has worsened their situation daily.<\/p>\n<p>However, the chairman of the association stated that farmers from Keana LGA&#8217;s Ayua, Upuur, Ngur, Kpelev, Bature, Antsa, Kwara, and Adootu communities had been living in an IDP camp since their villages were attacked and destroyed.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Utsa also urged the state government to strengthen security in their communities and return them to allow farmers to care for their families.<\/p>\n<p>According to the statement, <em>&#8220;we are appealing to the state government to rebuild our destroyed houses and provide them with basic amenities.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>He also stated that the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) had taken over the IDP camp in the Kadarko area and urged them to return it as a temporary shelter before their communities were rebuilt.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"jeg_post_title\">Police dismiss officer who killed father of three<\/h3>\n<p>A police officer who shot dead one Alafuro Peterside, in Port Harcourt,\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2023\/09\/20\/rivers-police-kill-4-cultists-move-to-recover-remains-of-slain-dpo\/\">Rivers State<\/a><\/strong>, has been relieved of his duty.<\/p>\n<p>Recall that last month, Peterside, 42, was killed by the police officer in the presence of his wife and children at a beer parlour in Elekohia, Port Harcourt City Local Government Area of the State.<\/p>\n<p>The Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Nwonyi Emeka, announced the dismissal of the accused while parading criminal suspects at the command\u2019s headquarters at Moscow Road, Port Harcourt, on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>CP Emeka added that the officer has been arraigned in court <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2023\/09\/21\/rivers-police-dismiss-officer-who-killed-father-of-three\/\">for the sake of
