{"id":292291,"date":"2023-10-06T17:04:24","date_gmt":"2023-10-06T16:04:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=292291"},"modified":"2023-10-06T17:04:24","modified_gmt":"2023-10-06T16:04:24","slug":"mohbad-vomited-developed-goosebumps-after-three-injections-cp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2023\/10\/06\/mohbad-vomited-developed-goosebumps-after-three-injections-cp\/","title":{"rendered":"Mohbad vomited, developed goosebumps after three injections \u2013 CP"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><strong>Says a total of 26 witnesses have been interviewed<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Says he was certified dead by doctors<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Idowu Owohunwa, has disclosed that late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad, began vomiting and developed goosebumps after he was injected three times by a nurse, Feyisayo Ogedemgbe, on September 12, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The Lagos CP disclosed this at a press briefing on Friday at the state Command headquarters, Ikeja, Lagos.<\/p>\n<p>Owohunwa was giving preliminary reports of investigation conducted by the police team to unravel the circumstance that led to the death of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2023\/09\/26\/mohbad-lagos-state-judiciary-to-begin-coroners-inquest\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mohbad<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs of today, a total of 26 witnesses have been interviewed,\u201d the CP said.<\/p>\n<p>He said those interrogated include Mohbad\u2019s father, mother, sisters, brother, wife and manager among several others.<\/p>\n<p>The CP said Mohbad was brought in dead to the hospital, and he was certified dead by doctors on duty on September 12.<\/p>\n<p>According to the CP, the nurse, Feyisayo Ogedemgbe, who was invited by Mohbad\u2019s friend, Ayobami Sodiq aka Spending, to inject the singer at his residence, administered three injections believed to have led to the chain of reactions that eventually led to the singer\u2019s death.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMohbad began vomiting and developed goosebumps after the injections,\u201d Owohunwa said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Lagos State Police Command has identified two more prime suspects in the death of popular singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad.<\/p>\n<p>The State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, named Mohbad\u2019s childhood friend, Primeboy and one Ayobami as major suspects.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Owohunwa had named an auxiliary nurse, Feyisayo Ogedengbe, as the principal suspect in Mohbad\u2019s death.<\/p>\n<p>The CP had said the nurse was not qualified to treat the deceased for the injury he had during his last show.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking during a press conference in Lagos, the police boss said: \u201cPrimeboy, Auxiliary Nurse, [and] Ayobami Sediq, aka Splendid, are prime suspects.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSplendid was complicit for inviting the nurse who he knew was unqualified to administer a potent medication that triggered reactions that led to Mohbad\u2019s death.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Says a total of 26 witnesses have been interviewed Says he was certified dead by doctors The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Idowu Owohunwa, has disclosed that late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad, began vomiting and developed goosebumps after he was injected three times by a nurse, Feyisayo Ogedemgbe, on September 12, 2023.
