Abdulsalam Mohammad as Special Assistant, Administration.<\/p>\n<p>The newly appointed SA will serve as the Special Assistant Administrator in the office of Vice President Kashim Shettima.<\/p>\n<p>The official communication, conveyed through an appointment letter signed by Sen. George Akume, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, on Friday, specifies that Barr. Abdulsalam Mohammad assumes his responsibilities starting on October 20, 2023, with a tenure spanning four years.<\/p>\n<p>By virtue of this appointment, Barr. Abdulsalam Mohammed is tasked with overseeing and coordinating administrative activities within the office of the Vice President\u2019s wife, contributing to the efficient functioning of the vice presidential domain.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2023\/11\/10\/tinubu-mourns-nigerias-first-female-major-general-kale\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">President Tinubu<\/a> has approved the appointment of Mr. Mohammed Abba Isa to serve as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Disability Matters.<\/p>\n<p>A statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale said that the appointment is determination of Tinubu\u2019s administration to ensure that every segment of society is sufficiently catered to within the ambit of the Renewed Hope Agenda.<\/p>\n<p>The statement further stated that \u201cMr. Mohammed Abba Isa is a distinguished champion of persons with disabilities with over a decade of experience in local and international advocacy on matters concerning persons with disabilities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The new presidential aide is a graduate of Public Administration with honours from the University of Maiduguri where he would go on to earn a Masters in Public Administration at the same institution in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>The President tasked the new appointee to proactively create avenues of opportunity for inclusion through the inculcation of PWD requirements and perspectives in the policies and programmes of all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies of the Federal Government while working closely with sub-national authorities to build a national consensus on PWD-friendly policy and environmental conditions in collaboration with the National Commission for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The newly appointed SA will serve as the Special Assistant Administrator in the office of Vice President Kashim Shettima President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Borno-seasoned journalist Barr.
