{"id":300174,"date":"2023-12-08T20:39:26","date_gmt":"2023-12-08T19:39:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=300174"},"modified":"2023-12-08T20:39:26","modified_gmt":"2023-12-08T19:39:26","slug":"akeredolus-signature-forged-on-official-documents-ondo-commissioner-alleges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2023\/12\/08\/akeredolus-signature-forged-on-official-documents-ondo-commissioner-alleges\/","title":{"rendered":"Akeredolu\u2019s Signature Forged On Official Documents, Ondo Commissioner Alleges"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><strong>The state Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, Razaq Obe, made the allegation in a letter dated 7 December addressed to the deputy governor of the state, Lucky Aiyedatiwa<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><b>Concerned over the development, Obe wrote a letter to the deputy governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, in which he highlighted the discrepancies in the signature.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Ondo State Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, Razaq Obe, raised an alarm on Friday that the signature of his boss, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, is being forged.<\/p>\n<p>Obe revealed this following the alleged discovery of irregularities in a document that was returned to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources through the office of the Secretary to the State Government, SSG.<\/p>\n<p>Concerned over the development, Obe wrote a letter to the deputy governor, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2023\/11\/30\/breaking-ondo-assembly-withdraw-appeal-against-aiyedatiwa\/\">Lucky Aiyedatiwa<\/a>, in which he highlighted the discrepancies in the signature.<\/p>\n<p>The commissioner maintained that, with the severity of the situation, he sought the assistance of forensic experts to authenticate the governor\u2019s signature.<\/p>\n<p>He stressed that, based on the findings, it was confirmed that the signature was indeed forged.<\/p>\n<p>Obe, who called for immediate action to be taken over the situation, described it as a disturbing development.<\/p>\n<p>The letter reads: \u201cI write to bring to your attention a critical matter that requires immediate action.
