The ruling dismissed a plea submitted by Chukwuma Odii of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2024\/01\/08\/im-playing-politics-of-rivers-unity-never-betrayed-pdp-wike\/\">Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)<\/a>, who had challenged the election results.<\/p>\n<p>However, Odii, unsatisfied with the Court of Appeal\u2019s decision, took his case to the Supreme Court, seeking to overturn Nwifuru\u2019s election.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The panel also resolved all the five issues raised against the appellant and dismissed the appeal for lacking in merit.
