{"id":306180,"date":"2024-01-18T09:36:06","date_gmt":"2024-01-18T08:36:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=306180"},"modified":"2024-01-18T09:36:06","modified_gmt":"2024-01-18T08:36:06","slug":"ncc-suspends-barring-of-glo-subscribers-from-calling-mtn-lines","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2024\/01\/18\/ncc-suspends-barring-of-glo-subscribers-from-calling-mtn-lines\/","title":{"rendered":"NCC suspends barring of Glo subscribers from calling MTN lines"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><strong>NCC expects MTN and Glo to resolve all outstanding issues within 21 days<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Nigerian Communications Commission has suspended its planned barring of Glo subscribers from calling MTN lines for 21 days.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2024\/01\/08\/breaking-ncc-to-bar-glo-subscribers-from-calling-mtn-lines\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">commission<\/a> disclosed this in a statement on Thursday, signed by its Director, Public Affairs, Reuben Mouka, as a follow-up to its Pre-Disconnection Notice issued on January 8, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>In the first notice, the commission stated that it has approved MTN Nigerian Communications Plc. to commence the phased disconnection of Globacom Limited with effect from January 18, 2024, due to a long-standing interconnection debt dispute between the parties.<\/p>\n<p>Announcing its extension, the NCC said, \u201cThe commission is pleased to announce that the parties have now reached an agreement to resolve all outstanding issues between them.
