Nigerians need to know the truth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you want to publish the names of those owing, you can go ahead and do so.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The minister criticised the high energy theft rate in the country and pledged to sponsor bills at the national assembly to combat it.<\/p>\n<p>He also assured Tinubu of his commitment to improving power supply and promised to complete all existing projects before awarding new ones.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMeter bypassing is making this company to run at a loss,\u201d Adelabu said.<\/p>\n<p>Deolu Ijose, managing director of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2023\/04\/19\/we-lost-over-n130m-to-illicit-meters-in-osun-ibedc\/\"><strong>BEDC<\/strong><\/a> identified meter bypassing as a significant challenge for the company.<\/p>\n<p>However, Ijose said the company had connected many communities to the national grid and provided feeders in its franchise states.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Managing director of BEDC identified meter bypassing as a significant challenge for the company.
