The initiative, a private sector-led program facilitated by the Office of the Vice President, aims to create employment opportunities in the business process and technology-enabled outsourcing sector.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at a press conference in Abuja, Sen. Ibrahim Hadejia, Deputy Chief of Staff to the President (Office of the Vice President), highlighted OTNI&#8217;s potential to secure job opportunities for Nigerian youths rapidly. He emphasized the significant job prospects within the global outsourcing market, which generated nearly $350 billion in revenue in 2023 across seven top participating countries.<\/p>\n<p>Hadejia underscored the favourable position of Nigeria in the global outsourcing landscape, citing factors such as the English-speaking population, improved IT infrastructure, and a skilled workforce. He emphasized that capturing a substantial portion of this market could position outsourcing as a key alternative to oil and become a major employer for Nigeria&#8217;s youth demographic.<\/p>\n<p>Encouraging other state governors to follow Gombe&#8217;s lead, Hadejia urged them to seize the opportunity presented by the OTNI launch to create quality employment opportunities for youths in their respective states.<\/p>\n<p>Amal Hassan, the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Outsource Global, expressed optimism about the impact of OTNI on Nigeria&#8217;s outsourcing sector.
