He emphasized the importance of this expansion to enhance transportation efficiency and bolster economic activities in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Assuring the public of the project&#8217;s timely completion, Okhiria revealed plans to introduce semi-automatic signalling systems to enhance safety measures along the rail tracks.<\/p>\n<p>To prioritize passenger safety and operational efficiency, Okhiria underscored the need for cooperation from local communities and urged traders to refrain from encroaching on the rail lines.<\/p>\n<p>Despite potential adjustments in transport fares due to rising diesel costs, the government remains committed to ensuring affordable and secure rail transportation for all citizens.<\/p>\n<p>As preparations for the commencement of train services progress, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2023\/12\/29\/nrc-faces-ongoing-challenge-of-track-vandalism\/\">NRC<\/a> continues to collaborate with stakeholders to streamline project
