He emphasized that securing employment for loan recipients shortly after graduation would accelerate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2024\/03\/08\/federal-government-initiates-student-loan-recovery-process-two-years-post-nysc\/\">loan repayment.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Sawyer clarified that beneficiaries are expected to commence repayment two years after completing their National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program. However, those who secure employment earlier can begin repayment ahead of schedule.<\/p>\n<p>Assuring a streamlined application process, Sawyer noted that students could access the loan through their respective institutions. He underscored the loan&#8217;s objective to support Nigerian undergraduates struggling with tuition fees, enabling them to complete their education.<\/p>\n<p>In pursuit of transparency in loan disbursement, Sawyer urged the support of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs).
