President Bola Tinubu has departed Lagos for Abuja.<\/p>\n
The president has been scheduled to commission some projects executed by the Federal Capital Territory Administration.<\/p>\n
Tinubu, who left the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, at 11:43 am, was seen off by the Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila; and some government officials.<\/p>\n
While in Lagos, the president performed the official flag-off of the construction of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway from the Victoria Island end of the 700-kilometre project, hailed as an economic and rural community development game changer.<\/p>\n
President Tinubu also commissioned the reconstructed Apapa-Oworonshoki-Ojota Expressway and the Rehabilitated Third Mainland, as well as virtually commissioned the rehabilitation of 330 roads and bridges across the country.<\/p>\n
In Abuja, the President will be commissioning the southern Parkway from Christian Centre to Ring Road One, among others.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
