{"id":328022,"date":"2024-06-21T19:46:34","date_gmt":"2024-06-21T18:46:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=328022"},"modified":"2024-06-21T19:46:34","modified_gmt":"2024-06-21T18:46:34","slug":"why-we-cant-evict-bayero-from-palace-police","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2024\/06\/21\/why-we-cant-evict-bayero-from-palace-police\/","title":{"rendered":"Why we can\u2019t evict Bayero from palace \u2013 Police"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><strong><strong>The government had directed the CP to remove the deposed 15 Emir of Kano from the Nasarawa mini palace where he is staying<\/strong><\/strong><br \/>\n<hr \/>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Police Commissioner in Kano State, AIG Usaini Gumel, has explained why the police ignored the directive on the eviction of the deposed Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero.<\/p>\n<p>Recall that Yusuf had on Thursday night, through the State Attorney General And Commissioner of Justice, Haruna Dederi, directed the CP to remove the deposed 15 Emir of Kano from the Nasarawa mini palace where he is staying.<\/p>\n<p>Gumen in an interview with Punch on Friday, said obeying the governor\u2019s eviction order would be tantamount to \u201cjumping the gun\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the same government that gave the order had filed a case at the State High Court on the eviction order, which would come up on Monday, 24th June 2024.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe police will not evict the deposed Emir because the same government has filed a case at the State High Court on the eviction order, which would come up on Monday, 24th June 2024.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe government is jumping the gun because the same government has filed a case on the eviction order, which is coming up on the 24th of June, 2024.
