The national power grid on Wednesday suffered another system collapse, resulting in worsening the blackout in parts of the country.<\/p>\n

The collapse, which occurred around 11.00 am on Wednesday, was confirmed by two of the country\u2019s electricity<\/a> distribution companies in separate messages to their customers.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe regret to inform you that the power outage currently being experienced across our franchise \u2013 Kaduna, Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara States \u2013 is as a result of the collapse of the national grid,\u201d Kaduna Electric said on Twitter.
\nEko Electricity Distribution Company Plc, in a text message to its customers, said, \u201cDear customer, there is a partial system collapse on the national grid.
