This initiative focuses on economic and financial inclusion to drive growth and combat poverty.<\/p>\n<p>Vice President Kashim Shettima highlighted the administration&#8217;s commitment to this goal during a meeting to establish an Operating Model for Economic and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2024\/04\/26\/fg-states-sign-aso-accord-for-economic-financial-inclusion\/\">Financial Inclusion<\/a>. He emphasized the importance of inclusive economic growth in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu&#8217;s policies.<\/p>\n<p>The Aso Accord on Economic and Financial Inclusion revealed on April 25, 2024, outlines a comprehensive strategy for universal financial access. It supports the Renewed Hope Agenda, which aims to transform Nigeria&#8217;s economy while reducing poverty and insecurity.<\/p>\n<p>Shettima stressed the need for access to capital and legislative support to achieve these goals. He noted positive outcomes, such as Fitch Ratings&#8217; recent upgrade of Nigeria\u2019s credit outlook to positive, reflecting the administration&#8217;s progress.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative has been placed on the National Economic Council&#8217;s agenda, involving all state governors and key stakeholders to ensure sustainable growth. Shettima urged the implementation team to commit fully to this crucial task.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Nurudeen Abubakar Zauro, Technical Advisor on Financial Inclusion, reported significant progress in executing the Aso Accord. He noted that financial inclusion discussions have reached top government levels.<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Olayinka David-West from Lagos Business School praised the administration for prioritizing economic and
