One of the major new requirements is the payment of a non-refundable fee of N688,000 for a compulsory document verification process for all Nigerian travelers above 13 years of age.<\/p>\n<p>Before proceeding with the visa application, travelers must first obtain a Document Verification Number (DVN) upon a successful review of their documents. The Document Verification Hub, a specialized service designed to authenticate and verify documentation essential for visa applications, will carry out this mandatory verification process. This process requires a non-refundable fee of N688,000 along with an additional N48,000 for the 7.5% Value Added Tax.<\/p>\n<p>To obtain a UAE visa, Nigerian passport holders must meet the following five requirements:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Document Verification Number (DVN)<\/strong>: A valid DVN confirming the authenticity of the submitted documents.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Proof of Bank Account<\/strong>: A six-month bank statement showing a minimum balance of $10,000 USD.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Round-Trip Flight Tickets<\/strong>: Evidence of booked round-trip flight tickets.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hotel Booking<\/strong>: Proof of a confirmed and paid hotel booking.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Visa Fee Payment<\/strong>: The visa fee must be paid by credit card at the UAE Visa Centre in Abuja, Nigeria. For Nigerians residing abroad, the fee can be paid at the nearest UAE Visa Centre.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>These updated requirements are part of the UAE&#8217;s efforts to streamline and ensure the
