to hand over cash &#8216;or die&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>According to reports, she made away with $4,800 and used the money to fly to Mexico where she used it to fluff up her cheeks, perfect her pout and thin out her nose.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-33170\" src=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2021\/05\/kunlenet07\/2021\/05\/13\/Transgender-300x180.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"180\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2021\/05\/kunlenet07\/2021\/05\/13\/Transgender-300x180.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2021\/05\/kunlenet07\/2021\/05\/13\/Transgender-1024x615.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2021\/05\/kunlenet07\/2021\/05\/13\/Transgender-768x461.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2021\/05\/kunlenet07\/2021\/05\/13\/Transgender-1536x923.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2021\/05\/kunlenet07\/2021\/05\/13\/Transgender.jpg 1908w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When she returned to the U.S. on March 30, she tried to quietly get through Houston Airport without being noticed but her swollen, puffy cheeks and bandaged nose gave her away to the officers, who were waiting at the airport to arrest her.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities tracked her by tracing the cellphone she used on the day of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/05\/10\/notorious-robbery-suspect-arrested-with-pistol-in-kaduna\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">robbery<\/a> which they then followed to the airport, to Mexico, and back again.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-33173\" src=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2021\/05\/kunlenet07\/2021\/05\/13\/TG-3-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2021\/05\/kunlenet07\/2021\/05\/13\/TG-3-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2021\/05\/kunlenet07\/2021\/05\/13\/TG-3-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2021\/05\/kunlenet07\/2021\/05\/13\/TG-3-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2021\/05\/kunlenet07\/2021\/05\/13\/TG-3.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This week, after a two-year legal saga, she admitted robbery and was sentenced to 15 years in prison.<\/p>\n<p>Back in 2019, Mississippi police released surveillance footage of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/05\/07\/video-three-transgender-women-beaten-forced-to-strip-by-men-in-benin-republic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">transgender<\/a> woman entering the bank, wearing sunglasses, a wig, a striped shirt, and pants, before approaching the teller.<\/p>\n<p>Facce &#8211; formerly known as Jimmy Lewis then handed the female teller a note which read: &#8216;you have 1 minute to give the money do not be wrong are die&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-33172\" src=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2021\/05\/kunlenet07\/2021\/05\/13\/TG-2-251x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"251\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2021\/05\/kunlenet07\/2021\/05\/13\/TG-2-251x300.png 251w, https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2021\/05\/kunlenet07\/2021\/05\/13\/TG-2.png 477w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 251px) 100vw, 251px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>From June 2007 to January 2008, Lewis was said to have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/05\/06\/two-feared-killed-as-robbers-attack-bullion-van-in-ondo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">robbed banks<\/a> in Alabama by passing threatening notes in Cleveland, Decatur, and Lenoir City in Tennessee.<\/p>\n<p>She was arrested in 2008 in Los Angeles on arrival with a flight from Mexico when one of her aliases was spotted by border agents.<\/p>\n<p>According to police reports, Lewis threatened the life of a teller, saying in a note: &#8216;No games, no jokes and get your hands up. Don&#8217;t mash any alarms.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Don&#8217;t move or she&#8217;s had it.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Lewis was sentenced to 51 months behind bars and probation for the robbery.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A transgender woman has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for robbing a Mississippi bank to pay for her plastic surgery in Mexico.
