According to Dr. Stephen Hwande, BSUTH&#8217;s Chief Medical Director (CMD), advanced technology will help children stunted in growth or growing beyond their age develop appropriately.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at the \u201cUnveiling Latest Diagnostic Advancements in BSUTH\u201d event in Makurdi, the Benue State capital, Dr. Hwande said, &#8220;If your child is not growing well, you can now come and do growth hormone therapy. If your child is three years old and looks like a five-year-old, the child can be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2023\/08\/31\/japa-nigerian-doctors-relocating-to-sierra-leone-gambia-to-earn-4000-wages-cmds-tell-reps\/\">diagnosed<\/a> and treated to grow normally. Take advantage of these advanced technological services.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Hwande also mentioned that various types of medical services are now available at BSUTH, including diagnostics for pregnancy Down syndrome, heart failures (even brain-related), infectious diseases like Lassa fever and monkeypox, and growth hormone-related issues.<\/p>\n<p>He expressed optimism that the hospital&#8217;s recent hiring of high-ranking professionals will significantly improve medical care in the country. &#8220;Today, we are unveiling the latest diagnostic equipment to enhance performance. Providing these skilled professionals with the right tools will ignite their drive to excel.
