He stressed that inconsistent pay and delayed salary upgrades are key factors driving the exodus of health professionals.<\/p>\n<p>Audu argued that fair and equitable remuneration is essential to retain talent and ensure the strength of the healthcare system. &#8220;When healthcare workers are compensated fairly, they feel valued and respected, which enhances their dedication to patient care,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>He highlighted the disparities in pay structures across various institutions and locations, which he said discourages young professionals from remaining in the country.
