{"id":343849,"date":"2024-10-30T22:59:27","date_gmt":"2024-10-30T21:59:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=343849"},"modified":"2024-10-30T22:59:27","modified_gmt":"2024-10-30T21:59:27","slug":"breaking-tcn-restores-power-to-seven-states","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2024\/10\/30\/breaking-tcn-restores-power-to-seven-states\/","title":{"rendered":"BREAKING: TCN restores power to seven states"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><strong><strong>Appreciates citizens&#8217; patience<\/strong><\/strong><br \/>\n<hr \/>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN, on Wednesday night, disclosed that it had successfully restored bulk power supply through its 330KV Ugwuaji-Apir transmission Line 1 to seven northern states, following the repair of the line.<\/p>\n<p>TCN, in a statement by General Manager, Public Affairs, Ndidi Mbah, disclosed that repair works on the line were completed at 4:56 p.m., on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>She stated that \u201cWith the restoration of this line, the Apir-Lafia 330kV transmission line 2 is now operational.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlso, bulk power transmission has been restored to Lafia, Makurdi, Jos, Kaduna, Kano, Bauchi, and Gombe states.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRestoration efforts continue, with the TCN engineering team preparing to commence work on the second 330kV transmission line.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll necessary materials for the repairs are on hand.
