It assured that the remaining tour operators would also receive refunds after final reconciliations.<\/p>\n<p>The commission highlighted the move as a demonstration of its commitment to transparency and accountability under the leadership of Chairman\/CEO, Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman. Each pilgrim is entitled to a refund of N61,080.<\/p>\n<p>NAHCON urged participants of the 2023 Hajj to contact their respective State Pilgrims\u2019 Welfare Boards, agencies, or tour operators to claim their refunds.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the commission advised prospective pilgrims for the 2025 Hajj to deposit their fares early with their respective boards. It stressed that timely payments would help streamline arrangements in line with Saudi Arabia\u2019s guidelines.<\/p>\n<p>To ensure transparency, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2024\/04\/26\/reps-ask-nahcon-to-address-concerns-over-2024-hajj\/\">NAHCON<\/a> called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC), and other security agencies to monitor the refund process.<\/p>\n<p>This collaboration ensures that the funds reach the intended beneficiaries without
