NAFDAC wishes to state that this claim is false and completely unfounded categorically,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Adeyeye explained that the product registration application was outrightly rejected due to its dangerous and unsubstantiated claims.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe product, Lung Detox Tea, Lungitox (Smokers Pride), or any similar product, is not registered by NAFDAC. The application was rejected because the claim that smoking could be made healthy is not supported by science and poses a significant public health risk,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>NAFDAC emphasized its dedication to safeguarding public health by approving only safe, effective products supported by scientific evidence.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe condemn any attempt to mislead or endanger the public with false claims. The public is advised to disregard this video and report any suspicious claims or products to the Agency through our official channels,\u201d the statement
