Okoronkwo pleaded guilty, while Onyinye pleaded not guilty.<\/p>\n<p>The EFCC counsel, Rotimi Ajobiewe, requested a short adjournment to review the facts of the case, while counsel to the second defendant, C. N. Agama, prayed for Onyinye to be remanded in EFCC custody pending the hearing of her bail application.<\/p>\n<p>Justice Umar adjourned the matter to January 15, 2025, for the hearing of Onyinye&#8217;s bail application and the conviction and sentencing of Okoronkwo.
