They are the reason the entire ecosystem is sustainable. They must be protected at all costs,&#8221; Achimugu said. &#8220;Operators (airlines) are the drivers of the industry. They are the reason passengers can travel safely. They must be protected at all costs.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He highlighted the critical role of the NCAA as the &#8220;glue&#8221; holding the industry together and acknowledged the challenges faced by Nigerian airlines, commending their resilience in a harsh operating environment.<\/p>\n<p>The aviation sector continues to grapple with significant challenges, including foreign exchange shortages and high fuel costs.
