This included $3,366,000, 51,970 CFA Franc, and \u20a61,443,000. Ibrahim&#8217;s arrest led to the apprehension of accomplices Muhammed Muntari and Usman Abdullahi.<\/p>\n<p>In another operation on January 13, 2025, operatives in New Karu, Nasarawa State, arrested Ephraim Barde, 53, with counterfeit $160,000 in his possession. Investigations are ongoing to uncover his network and identify additional suspects.<\/p>\n<p>ACP Adejobi emphasized the police&#8217;s commitment to safeguarding Nigeria\u2019s financial system and combating financial crimes.
