Despite loud warnings from bystanders and the train\u2019s horn, he failed to move in time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was chatting on the phone with three others who were also on the tracks, but they ran off when they heard the train\u2019s horn. Unfortunately, he didn\u2019t,\u201d a witness explained.<\/p>\n<p>The man\u2019s body remained near his shop as efforts were made to contact his family. Police have reportedly been informed to evacuate the corpse.<\/p>\n<p>A source from the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) confirmed the incident but noted that the victim\u2019s identity was yet to be verified.<\/p>\n<p>Cases of train accidents have become frequent along the Lagos corridor due to human activities on the railway tracks.
