Nwecheonwu on Thursday to face fraud allegations.<\/p>\n<p>However, the court delayed the case to permit charge amendments. This development was disclosed in an EFCC statement on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>During the brief hearing, defense counsel Isah Dokto Haruna requested bail for Yusuf, but the judge denied the request, citing the postponed arraignment.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In the absence of a formal arraignment, bail at this stage is premature,&#8221; Justice Nwecheonwu ruled, ordering Yusuf to remain in EFCC custody until his next court appearance.<\/p>\n<p>The case will resume on February 3, 2025, when Yusuf will be formally arraigned.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The court adjourned the case to allow for amendment of charges.
