The education sector received the largest share, with N205.9 billion allocated to various initiatives, including N4 billion for free education and N2.2 billion for a school feeding programme.<\/p>\n<p>Shanono said the state\u2019s projected revenue had increased due to the removal of fuel subsidies, leading to higher federal allocations.<\/p>\n<p>Kano expects to generate N617 billion in revenue, with N531 billion coming from the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) and N85.8 billion from internally generated revenue (IGR).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It will be conducted quarterly across the state\u2019s 44 local government areas The Kano State government has allocated N2.5 billion for mass weddings across the state as part of its 2025 budget.
