We are suffering. There is too much anger, and the FG\u2019s economic policy is not working,\u201d he said, pointing to rising inflation, unemployment, and a declining standard of living.<\/p>\n<p>He called for an urgent policy shift, urging the Federal Government to rethink its economic strategies.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, ineffective policies will only deepen suffering and create more division between the government and the people.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhatever will make us cry must not be part of your policy because the country belongs to us. It does not belong to the World Bank, IMF, or the international community,\u201d Fintiri asserted, suggesting that foreign-driven economic models may not suit Nigeria\u2019s specific needs.<\/p>\n<p>His remarks highlight growing concerns that government policies should focus on local realities rather than external prescriptions.<\/p>\n<p>The demand for a more people-centred economic approach aligns with a global push for inclusive and sustainable development.<\/p>\n<p>Governor Fintiri\u2019s statements emphasize the need for urgent action.
