Only a few states still have open slots.

According to JAMB, the states with remaining spaces include Gombe, Jigawa, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Plateau, Sokoto, Taraba, and Yobe. This notice serves to caution candidates against hastily selecting examination towns, only to later blame the board for assigning them to locations far from their residences,” he stated.

While candidates have the freedom to choose their preferred examination towns, JAMB urged them to consider the impact of their choices.

“Some candidates may select towns that are quite distant, even outside their home states. The board should not be held responsible for such choices.

“The allocation of mock examination slots is based on the availability of centers, and once a town reaches its capacity, it will no longer be available for selection,” Benjamin explained.

He further emphasized that the mock examination is only designed to help candidates familiarize themselves with the Computer-Based Test (CBT) environment and to allow JAMB to assess its facilities.

Candidates are advised to carefully select their examination towns, considering travel logistics and
