The refinery is producing enough refined products, like gasoline, diesel, and kerosene, to meet 100 percent of Nigeria\u2019s requirements,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>Recall that the Africa\u2019s richest man claimed his refinery has over N600 billion worth of petrol in its stores.<\/p>\n<p>This comes after the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority recently said that local refineries, including Dangote Refinery, met only 50 percent of Nigeria\u2019s petrol requirements in February 2025.<\/p>\n<p>NMDPRA\u2019s comments came amid speculation that the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has continued to import fuel.<\/p>\n<p>However, NNPC denied importing fuel in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Dangote Refinery and NNPCL have been in a war path since the commencement of fuel rollout by the former in September 2024.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Africa\u2019s richest man claimed his refinery has over N600 billion worth of petrol in its stores.
