{"id":35903,"date":"2021-05-20T10:04:06","date_gmt":"2021-05-20T09:04:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=35903"},"modified":"2021-05-20T10:04:06","modified_gmt":"2021-05-20T09:04:06","slug":"just-in-tcn-finally-restores-power-to-kaduna","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/05\/20\/just-in-tcn-finally-restores-power-to-kaduna\/","title":{"rendered":"JUST IN: TCN finally restores power to Kaduna"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) on Thursday said it has restored power supply on most of its 33KVA feeders in Kaduna State.<\/p>\n<p>The development comes few hours after the Kaduna State government <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/05\/20\/despite-nlc-calling-off-strike-power-yet-to-be-restored-kaduna-government-laments\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lamented that power was yet to be restored<\/a><\/strong> despite Nigeria Labour congress, NLC, calling off its 5-day warning strike.<\/p>\n<p>The TCN General Manager, Public Affairs, Mrs Ndidi Mbah in a statement in Abuja listed the 33kV feeders which TCN had restored power to include Mogadishu, Abakwa, Nigerian Airforce Base, Ungwa Dosa, Turunku, Arewa, Airport , Kinkinau , Narayi and Independence feeders.<\/p>\n<p>According to her, the Kaduna Distribution Company (KAEDCO) has also indicated readiness to pick supply.<\/p>\n<p>She said that the Jaji and Rigasa feeders had also been energized while Olam, PAN and UNTL are about to be energised.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Waterworks feeder was energised but tripped as a result of fault.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTCN will continue to gradually restore supply on the other feeders as soon as KAEDCO indicates readiness to take supply,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) on Thursday said it has restored power supply on most of its 33KVA feeders in Kaduna State.
