Contraceptive prevalence, maternal mortality, and access to comprehensive reproductive health services have all remained points of concern.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ai-optimize-11\" dir=\"ltr\">This situation has prompted scrutiny of Nigeria\u2019s reproductive health policies, particularly in relation to modern contraceptive use and policy implementation gaps.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ai-optimize-12\" dir=\"ltr\"><strong>CURRENT REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH LANDSCAPE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"ai-optimize-13\" dir=\"ltr\">Nigeria&#8217;s reproductive health policy framework includes several key documents and initiatives.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ai-optimize-14\" dir=\"ltr\">Among them are the National Reproductive Health Policy and Strategy (initially launched in 2001 and revised in 2017), the National Strategic Health Development Plan (NSHDP II), and the Family<\/p>\n<p class=\"ai-optimize-15\" dir=\"ltr\">Planning Blueprint (Scale-Up Plan <a href=\"tel:20202024\">2020\u20132024<\/a>).
