When President Buhari died, I wanted to come out and abuse him (but) my wife called me not to say so,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Fayose stated that, despite what some people now say, Buhari\u2019s performance during his eight years in office was below expectation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWould you say Buhari performed? I\u2019m not among those praising the dead. Don\u2019t honour me when I die. When I die, I\u2019m gone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The former governor described the country as being in a dire state under Buhari\u2019s administration, contrary to current attempts to blame Tinubu.<\/p>\n<p>Fayose said President Bola Tinubu is more available and responsive to the people than Buhari ever was.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe [Tinubu] is accessible. Was the former president accessible?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added, \u201cA lot of things were happening in those days but do you still find them in the system?
